Tv was working this morning, came home this afternoon, no picture. It powers on with sound, screen is black. TV is 4 years old, RCA model LED55TC55R120Q. Took a picture of the power supply.

Hi ,

I have a 55" RCA LED TV and Model No is "LED55C55R120Q".

The screen show up only the massage "Input is blocked !" and all buttoens on the TV is disabled except power button.

I try to reset Parental password or factory reset but so far I couldn't get it.

I have a remote which works fine and I able to get to "Factory setting" screen but there is no reset function.

All inputs such as AV, TV, and HDMI are disabled.

Please help me.

There is sound but no picture. No image in a dark room while holding a flashlight up. Tried replacing the main power board, the logic board and the led driver board and still nothing. Occasionally when it attempts to turn on, there is a quick flash..but only maybe 20 percent of the time. This quick flash that happens sometimes makes me question if the LED panel if actually the problem. Can someone help me out here.

Im planning to replace the Tcon board (CC580PV7D) with (CC500PV7D) since I couldn't find the appropriate board, and was wondering if that would cause a problem.

Additionally, is there a component I could replace on the board itself?

My RCA 32 inch. Won't turn on anyway to reset it? I tried to reset it the remote but there was no clear button on the remote so I could not use the remote to reset it. There is a red light on but everytime I try to press the power button it doesn't turn off and I don't know what to do.

I have this same problem I unplugged it, held power button, let sit for ten minutes. Now when I turned it back on, the screen flashed once then went Black and the sounds still works.

RCA LED46C45RQ: TV Doesn't Turn On, Standby LED Lights

Hello everyone, this will be my first post here.

Model Number: RCA LED46C45RQ

I salvaged an RCA 46” TV that has an indicator light, but doesn’t turn on when the power button is pressed. When I go to plug it in, the power supply draws power and I can hear the typical electrical arc hiss when the AC prongs bridge; so clearly it doesn draw some power. The Red LED lights, but the LEDs do not come on at all when plugged in, or when the power button is pressed.

However, when the power button is pressed (the power button is “clicky”, so it’s not a bad button), the TV does not light. This is also true if I hold the power button or press multiple times. I don’t have the remote for it, but given that it doesn’t apear to function when the power button is depressed, I don’t think it is necessary for solving this issue. There are also no LED indicators on the board to tell me if certain boards have power.

What approach should I take to restore the TV?

Sorry for the delay, work and life complications.

I thought that the power board was the issue due to it not complying to the power pin requirements written on the board, but the replacement board that I got has the same issue. I believe these to be some kind of standard.

Anyway, I’ve replaced all boards on the TV (the 2 pictured), but the TV still does not light. The power indicator will toggle on and off depending on the switches on/off status, but no signal on the TV itself.

I believe it to be an issue with the LED array or something. Is there anything I should check aside for all connections to the board and AC power (which were double checked first obviously (as was the LED indicator)).

Not sure where to go from here.

So I just got this TV like Three weeks ago and last Sunday I go to turn it on and it won't power on with the remote or on the front panel, I have had it on since i acquired it but Sunday nothing, So since I cant figure out how to add a back picture of the manufacturer label the model number is P52921 and the chassis number is PTK195MB. Any advice and help with her much appreciated!

Yes that is correct there is no LED on the front panel and no lights whatsoever, shoot I can't even find the Remote sensor on the front of it, when I first got it the remote buttons would stick or hard to press and I cleaned it up and like one time got the TV to turn on with the remote!

The guy I got it from said it was the original remote, I went through the menus briefly when I did get it to turn on and under the parental controls you can lock the front panel however I could swear that it was off but I'm not a100% sure that while trying to get the remote to work I mistakenly enabled that lock.
