Protocol Galileo: Why won't my drone turn on

I got a new drone today before christmas and had a few tries at it. I have never flew a drone before but i didnt crash it once. When i try to charge the drone all 4 of the propellars turn on to full speed but the drone is turned off. Also the USB i plugged into the computer for charging the drone gets hot even though it hasnt even been plugged in for a minute. If i take the drone off the charger i can't turn it on. I've waited the amount of time i have to wait before charging and read the manual multiple times but am still having the same problem, Anyone know how to fix this, or what the problem is?
