I would like to ask if anyone knows which parts and between which generations are interchangeable. Let's say that I would like to mount a 4K display on a Dell precision 5750 (i7 10 gen version and full hd display). If I ordered a 4K display from ebay from a dell xps 17, would it work? Is the connector on the logicboard the same? Alternatively, would only an IPS panel 4K work or also OLED panel? Could I also mount a display with touch panel? Is there such a connector on the motherboard? One last question - if I decided I wanted to replace the motherboard with a newer version (for example, the one from the 9720 with 12gen intel and RTX GPU) - would it work?
