Playstation Portal: Does anyone know where to source the analog sticks?

I would really like to know where to source the analog sticks for the portal. Both mine click. This is a common issue with almost all of them. As the stock of portals shows no signs of changing anytime soon I’d like to fix this problem myself the only problem is. I don’t know where to buy the sticks. It may be to early and no one has manufactured them, but I know that the quest sticks are close just don’t know if they match up.

Thanks and happy holidays.

PlayStation Portal: Looking for a new screen for the PS Portal

I'm looking for a replacement screen for my PS Portal. I've already checked on Ali and other Asian sites but without luck.

Not sure if the only option for getting one is to buy a portal with other faults, like a broken joystick, and harvest the panel from it?

PlayStation Portal: Best toolkit to replace PS Portal left joystick

Hello!

I'm new to fixing, so want to make sure I get the right tools to replace my PS Portals left joystick. I have had a look at the Playstation Kit, but it looks like it's missing a screwdriver bit that's recommended in the joystick fixing instructions.

I'll be happy with any kit you recommend, and just want to make sure I get a kit that has all the required tools.

So, what's the kit I should be getting from iFixit?

Thanks in advance!

PlayStation Portal: Can't find thumb grips for sale

The thumb grips for the playstation portal are a different size than the one for the dualsense controllers and I can't find them anywhere online. Does anyone know where I can find them for sale? To be clear, I'm looking for the grip caps that go on the medal joystick component.

Playstation Portal: Dpad stops responding after multiple inputs

Whenever I move from side to side quickly on my dpad and then hold on the last input, it stops responding until i release the button and press it again. This doesnt happen with the joystick. Im not sure if this is a software issue but I did take mine apart to have a look and didnt see anything obviously wrong or misaligned internally. I dont think its a streaming or lag issue because I can replicate it with the brightness slider from the portals system settings. Is there a hardware issue that I should be looking for that may cause this? I did notice that the blue ribbon under the silicone cap was a little lose and not touching the board on one side but not sure if that would cause this or what to use to secure it to the board.

PlayStation Portal: Back button mod. Button pins?

Hi, I’m trying to mod my ps portal with back buttons mapped to square, triangle, cross and L3. I have created a new backcover with micro switches and now need to connect them. I have no idea if there are any pins I can solder the wires to. Can you help with schematics? If there are even any pins for this. Thank you!
