help my joystick aint stick drifting its more like Tokyo drifting, I have attached media of one.

my main controller had trigger issues which was giving a response when I wasn't even using the triggers so I used the same conductive film but switched the hardware of my other controller's pcb board which wasnt turning on and then the trigger issue was resolved but the that Tokyo drift issue came up so I guess the board is the issue but I'm not sure

DualSense Controller V3: Torn trace in joystick signal path.

Hello everyone,

I’m working on a PS5 DualSense (BDM-030) where I replaced both joysticks with GuliKit TMR modules. During removal of the original left stick, the LSX (left stick X-axis) trace was damaged.

Current symptoms:

Left stick only registers movement to the left, top-left, and bottom-left.
VCC is present (~1.8V).
Ground has continuity.
The LSX signal (middle pin) does not show continuity to any nearby components, so I believe the signal trace is broken.

I previously attempted a jumper to VCC by mistake, removed it, and confirmed the issue is specifically the LSX signal path.
I’m trying to locate the correct series resistor or via for the LSX signal on the BDM-030 board so I can run a proper jumper to the MCU side of the circuit.

Does anyone know:

The exact resistor designation for LSX on BDM-030?
A confirmed via location for that signal line?
A known safe jumper point for this repair?

Any boardview reference or photo guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
-Zeek

PlayStation Controller: Is this the stick drift or something else?

Hey,

couple days ago my controller starts to behave wierd, when playing my character tend to go to left, i told myself its classic stick drift so i increased the dead zone value form 15% to 20%, did not help so i increased it further even to 90%... still didnt help (btw 90% dead zone is almost unplayable)

the problem is with the left stick, when i dont touch it its okey but lets say i move forward a bit it somehow activates the issue and when i stop i just go to left and keep going to left

i never had stick drift issues before but i imagined i will be nonstop moving to the drifted direction, this feels a different to what i imagined, did this happend to some of you? is there a solution?
