Wondering if the blue and white cable shown in the teardown video is the Bluetooth antenna

I purchased a PS5 slim as a second console for my office. Unfortunately, there is a very high pitched whine resonating from the fan when starting up a game, which progressively gets louder after playing. (The console is in open space, with no vents covered).

I have taken the panel off and can see that the fan is the NMB variant. I was wondering if anybody knows of the best place to source a replacement fan? Seeing as Sony doesn't want to know.

Is this likely a blown fuse in the internal power supply, or is it common for the motherboard to be damaged in these scenarios? Are there any specific test points on the PS5 Slim power supply to check for voltage?

My PS5 slim fan started making a very annoying rattling noise (kind of like telegraph boops). I've had it for a few years now and it's definitely out of warranty.

I thought I'd check out iFixit and there's a great tutorial on how to replace the fan. I have all the tools necessary to do the work, but I need a new fan. And that's where the troubles begin.

The US iFixit has the part available to order, but not the canadian one (there's very little on the canadian one in general... why? Maybe that should be a separate post). The canadian sony store also doesn't offer any replacement parts. I'd rather not order from sketchy amazon or ali express merchants or unreliable quality.

Is there a trustworthy place I can order a new fan from in Canada?

I've read many similar complaints about fan noises or UFO sounds (whatever that is) but I don't think it is the fan. I already removed and cleaned it, and if I place my ear against the PS5 without the cover the sound is a lot louder near the bottom. It also seems to be more silent when I put pressure around this area, or when I place it horizontally.

The original owner claims he never heard anything like it and assumes something happened during transit, as the face cover was also loose when it arrived (although I have no way of knowing if this is true).

Anyone have idea what the problem is, and what I could do?

Added a video with the sound before and after booting a game.

Can somebody please give me a picture of a PS five slim board where the HDMI is so I Could someone please provide me with a photograph of a PlayStation 5 Slim board that clearly displays the HDMI port? I had a ps5 slim yesterday and upon setting it up it has this high pitched noise when in game but not in home page or media.

I've researched and people have referred to it as a hovering UFO sound and my slim sounds the same but not as loud as others but it is annoying.

Ive noticed if I press down on the circular metal fan shroud the noise mostly disappears.

Is there a temporary or DIY fix for this without replacing the fan.

I'm not sure what fan I have in the slim but above the QR code it had the letters MB.
