PlayStation 4 Slim: PS4 wont install update

I swapped the hard drive on my ps4 slim and attempted to download the newest software update. I am aware there are two versions and the larger file is the one im using. I followed the exact guidelines on how to setup the usb, with the right directories.

I have tried 2 different hard drives, 3 different usb drives and even downloaded it from different computers and different browsers.

I have tried both usb ports on the console aswell.

Nothing has worked yet.

when I try to reinitialize I get two errors in separate occasions.

SU-30625-6

SU-30645-8

If anybody knows how to fix this please help!

Hi all!

I was replacing the Panasonic chip on my PS4 Slim and in the process I lost the part marked in red in the attached picture. It looks like an SMD resistor to me, but i'm not sure.

I would really appreciate if someone can tell me the value of this part, so I can replace it.

PlayStation 4 Slim: Can play Uncharted 4 but Read Dead gets code ce34878-0 new HD&Blu Ray

I replaced the HD with 1tb HD, the Blu Ray Reader was also replaced and both worked perfectly with Uncharted 4, but when i tried to play Red Dead 2 it crashed immediately with error code ce34878-0. What could be the cause of this?

I am stuck on this screen. I have tried four different cables, went out and bought a new one, three different controllers, tried the reset button, clearing the cache, but it will not connect. The USB port works because it charges my phone when I plug it in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

One night I wanted to install a game on my ps4 and I left it to install the next day o found my ps4 off and when I turned it on the screen was black and white like old movies.i turned it off and let it sit for 10 minutes or so and turned it on and the same, changed the hdmi port and the same problem.but when I connect it to another tv it works.but I dont know if I can do something to use my old tv or I need to give up on it and get it repaired.

My PS4 Slim has random clicking noises at random intervals. My PS4 also cannot update at all and shows the error code "su-42118-6" whenever my PS4 is done updating. It might be a loose blu-ray cable/ribbon. This started after my PS4 refused to read disks.

This issue just randomly came when i plugged off the ps4 because i thought that the ps4 was done shutting down then later on after turning the ps4

First its loading chethe display just randomly disappears and the light bar or the power button just changed to orange to white i googled this but it keeps saying that the my HDMI cable is the problem but my HDMI cable is completely fine i can't find videos that explain this issues

Hi everyone,
I just by an old PS4 slim.
At first, the disc having the problem [disc unrecognized], disc not going,... but still see the disc icon in the top right
-> Try all the software -> Not working
-> Open the PS4 -> Full of cockroaches
-> Remove some discount cards in the disc drive
-> The drive now go in without issues -> i hear spin but no icon, no game loaded.
What can i do?
