Plantronics Voyager Legend: Why can't people hear me when I make a call?

Whenever a call is connected on my device, the other person in the conversation either has difficulty hearing what I say, or my end of the conversation is full of static. I have updated the firmware, but the problem persists.

I accidentally inserted a USB key in the USB hole of the charging casing. Since it’s smaller than the hole (it’s from another device) it went in and I cannot extract it out. Is it possible to disassemble the casing to get it out?

The soft rubber cover that is basicly the main body of the unit, is failing. It has a tear in it where is curves over your ear. In your instructions for replacing the battery you discuss loosing it up with heat to facilitate removal of the battery... But can the entire soft rubber body cover be replaced?

There is no other way to ask the question. It is simple. Can the soft rubber body of a PT Legend be replaced?

I found these guides and was hoping for help. I have a couple of Voyagers laying around. I now use IEM’s for better audio but have yet to find anything that rivals the Voyagers noise-cancelling microphone. Is it possible to hack the voyager so that I could use just the microphone and noise cancelling circuitry alone? Preferably adding an MMCX connector onto the Voyager and possibly hacking a FiiO RC-BT so that I could plug the Voyager mic into it via an MMCX cable. I love my IEM’s and I love the Voyager for calls, I hate having to rip these out of my ears so that I can go from one to the other. My hope is that someone will know how to adapt the Voyager so that I can use the moise cancelling mic with a pair of IEM’s simultaneously. Any guidence would be helpful.

Question, good morning, appreciable staff. I bought a Plantronic Blutothoth but now it doesn't work anymore, it shows that it charges and when I turn it on, the two lights come on at the same time, red and blue, and there is no sign that it will have any repairs. I always thought it was a missed opportunity that Plantronics made a desktop charging stand (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/9...), and didn't add a USB port to it so you could plug the Bluetooth USB dongle into the stand instead of needing to use two USB ports on your computer. Has anyone tried modifying the stand to add a USB port?

I use an iPhone 6 and have the volume on my headset up to the max but when a new message comes in from an e-mail, text or news update the volume drops down to 30%.

It is extremely frustrating in mid-conversation.

Is there some setting to fix this?

Hi! I just bought a plantronics voyager legend. Device working perfectly except for the voice dial feature. It is paired with a samsung galaxy S2. When I press the voice dial button and hold for 2 seconds, the prompt to call is not given; instead a short, dull tone is heard.

The voyageur appears to pair with the phone, so if I dial from the phone, I can take the call on the headset however the voice dial feature is not functioning.

Any advice much appreciated.
