I bought a Backbeat FIT and after about 3 months it stopped working, it won't turn on or anything! It still charges(the light turns on when plugged in) but won't actually turn on! I'm frustrated because I spent $130 on headphones, 3 months later Platronics in telling me I need to pay $95 to replace it!!!

Plantronics Backbeat Fit: Why won’t my backbeat go 3 turn on?

I know that this is listed under backbeat fit but I didn’t see the option to choose the backbeat go 3 which is what I am having difficulties with. It will still charge and when I connect it to the charger, it shows that it has a full battery. No buttons are stuck, and I know that it hasn’t been exposed to any type of water damage. When I try to hold the power button to turn it on, the headphones simply won’t turn on. Any ideas?

Plantronics Backbeat Fit: Headphones not Turning on

My Backbeat Fit has stopped working. I haven't used them in a while, but the last time I did they did work. When I plug them in, the red LEDs turn on but never change color, even after 8+ hours. When I unplug them, the light goes out. Holding down the power button doesn't work . I've even opened the side to make sure that the plastic button is actually pressing on the real button, but nothing changed. Any thoughts?

Plantronics Backbeat Fit: Why is there a volume imbalance in one headphone?

I’ve had my Backbeat Fit headphones for a while, no problems. Within the past few hours however, the left side is considerably softer than the right, so much so that when the right is at a normal volume the left makes almost no noise whatsoever. How do I fix this? Is it a problem with the buttons or the headset itself?

I have these headphones forever, and I love them, I use it every day. The battery life still works the same way since the time I bought it. Unfortunately, after dropping it uncountable times, the left year control broke, detached, I want to replace it because the headphone is still fully functional, but I can’t find where to buy the spare parts. Anyone have a suggestion of where to find it? Thanks

Plantronics Backbeat Fit: Backbeat Fit 3150 - case not charging

I would appreciate some help with the charging case for my Backbeat Fit 3150” which isn’t charging. My “Backbeat Fit 3150” is a very different device from the pictured “Backbeat Fit”, but this is the closest fit. The Backbeat Fit 3150 is pictured here:

There are two separate earpieces, no connecting cable between the earpieces. The charging cord (mini USB) plugs into the case, and the earpieces need to be placed in the case to charge. There is no way that i have discovered to charge the earpieces except by placing them into the case. The case includes a battery which can be used to recharge the earpieces even when the case is not connected to a charging cable.

My case won’t take a charge. The cords I am using have worked with the case in the past. I have tried several different USB cables, with no change. I verified that other devices take a charge from the cable, so it is not a faulty cable or bad electrical outlet. The case worked fine until about a week ago; now it doesn’t take a charge at all. There is no visible damage, it didn’t get wet, and I don’t recall dropping it.

The reason i think this is the case and not the earpieces is: The case has a charging light that will light when it is charging. The earpieces also have an LED that turns on when the earpieces are placed into the case and begin charging. When a charging cord is connected to the case, the charge light on the case doesn’t light up. Also, no matter how much I fiddle with adjusting the earpieces into the case, the LEDs on the earpieces won’t light up any longer when placed into the case for charging (to me this signifies that no charge is coming from the case). This is the same whether the charging cable is connected or disconnected. When I place the earpieces into my ear and turn them on, I get a low battery warning—which means to me that they are working but not charging. I cleaned both the charging pins in the case that electrically connect the earpieces to the case and also the corresponding contact points on the earpieces with canned air and with a dry toothbrush. No change.

Until the charge ran out, the headphones worked fine.

Has anyone had success fixing one of these charging cases?

Hi, i’ve been using my backbeat fit series 500 for about a month now, and when i plug in the charger the light turned on showing that its charging but when i connect the headphones, the percentage hasnt gone up and has stayed the same from when i plugged it in, im very worried theyre broken, and i had trouble finding an solution for this, if anyone could help me out with this, i would appreciate it, thanks!

Hi, the cover on my right earbud fell off. The rubber gasket around the circumference along with the plastic circle piece that has what looks like the hand held portion of an old phone and the thin gray rubber piece underneath the hard plastic circle. Is that part replaceable? I am concerned the internal parts that are now exposed will get damaged. In addition, now I cannot turn it on and off
