Pioneer DEH 4600 MP: Why does my Pioneer stereo not produce any sound?

I recently attempted to install my pioneer car stereo into my 99 Jetta. The first time I turned it on after install, I heard a spark. Looking closely, there was an exposed wire that had come in contact with the stereo's outer casing.

At this point, the stereo doesn't send any signal to the speakers. The unit powers on and reads CD's just fine, but refuses to make any kind of sound. Any ideas?

Pioneer DEH 4600 MP: Pioneer AVH1300-NEX backup camera not displaying!

Installing a pioneer AVH1300-nex.

Everything works except the backup camera display is black. When I put it in reverse the H/U switches to backup camera mode and it says "image may be reversed" and shows the parking assist lines. I move the gear selector either way and the H/U goes back to regular mode.

I know the camera works when i put it in reverse because I have a separate video monitor it displays on. It turns on when I select reverse and off when I select another gear.

-head unit works

-camera works

-reverse triggers a backup screen

-screen is black with warning message

-backup lines show

-hooked into brown port "r/c in"

AVH-Z9200DAB: SD card issues while playing music / .MP3's (AVH-Z9200DAB)

Goodafternoon,

Some time ago it got a 'Software error' message on the AVH-Z9200DAB. Screen was not working - all lines appeared. After 2 days, the AVH was loading and YES, it was back and funtional.

1 issue -> if I play music from the SD CARD, everything goes well. After I turn offr ignition, AVH turns off -> perfect. After I turn on iginition, the SD CARD / music does not go further with the same music where it stopped. So I start every day with the same music number :-(

I have already contacted Pioneer -> no answer.

I have reset the AVH to factory setting; formatted the SD card; bought another SD card; took the power off (via car battery); etc. etc.

Nothing was an solution.

I do have firmware 1.04 -> I thought to (re-)load the firmware again but it is not available to download.

Can you help me out to fix this issue?

Thank you in advance,

My jeep was recently broken into and I just got it back from repair. My stereo will no longer connect to my Samsung Galaxy S8 to play music but will still play calls. To listen to music I select “BT” and that option won't even appear on my radio, only AUX and RADIO. Music won't even play off my phone speakers when I have the blue tooth connected. I've tried turning both devices on and off and deleting the device and re pairing it to the radio. I'm lost, please help! Thanks!

AVH-Z9200DAB: Radio not turning on; AVH-280BT

I was trying to setup some new speakers in my car and while I was testing them the rear speakers weren't playing so I switched some RCA cables while music was playing (cuz I'm clearly a professional....) and heard some popping noise. The radio stopped working. I went ahead and turned the car off, disconnected the battery and checked the fuse (on the back of the radio). The fuse was blown, I switched it and tried turning it on and nothing happened still. I checked the cars fuse box and they were fine. What should I do?

AVH-Z9200DAB: Pioneer radio turns off after loading

I was installing a front cam to my AVH-Z9200DAB unit. It was successfully installed but during final connections it was connected to the rear video output instead of video input by mistake. After that the unit started turning off immediately after boot up, it shows the Pioneer loading… screen then turns off.

So far I tried to disconnect all cables leaving only the power cable and I tried the reset button but it didn’t work. I also tried a different radio on my car and it worked. So the issue appears to be from the unit itself. Any suggestions on what the issue might be?

Pioneer DEH 4600 MP: Why does my auxin reproduce left audio only when I tilt the jack?

I don’t know why the only way to make my stereo reproduce some audio from the eux without any trouble is to make the jack touch the auxin border by applying pressure on in and titlting it.

I’ve tried with many aux cable, all of them are 3.5 mm stereo jack and my phone aux works on other devices.

It looks like the auxin inside it’s too big for the litle jack which does not make contact inside.

As far as i’ve noticed i’ve always had this problem. Inserting the jack normally results in low audio from the right (sometimes crackling), twisting and tilting it results in a better audio from the right side and some times little noise from the left side (a few times i’ve been able to listen properly from both sides), however as long as i stop the preassure the it stops working again.

The radio speakers does work (cd and FM are reproduced properly)

Do you know what could be wrong?

Thanks

P.s. it a pioneer radio, but it’s not the one mentioned there, I didn’t find the right model, if you think thats a lot relevant i’ll search for it somewhere else
