Hello,

I just changed my MOTO G5 display that I bought on Ifixit EU store and now I can’t charge it anymore. It charged perfectly before I changed the display.
Did anybody already have this issue ?

Hey all! I have a iPhone 4 that says "Connect to iTunes" In setup. When I do it says There is a problem with your iPhone. This phone has never been dropped and never encountered water. The IMEI DOES SHOW when you hit the blue I But the iccid does not. Thanks!

iPhone 16 Plus: Panic log help: 16+ battery stuck at 1%, stops charging when booted

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me decipher the panic log on an iPhone 16 Plus. The phone charges normally when first plugged in, but stops charging as soon as it's fully booted (the charging icon still shows up, but no power is going to phone) and the battery indicator always shows "1%". It then crashes after ~3min.

I've already replaced both the battery and the charging port (with aftermarket parts from IG), but neither has impacted the behavior of the device.

I believe the relevant part of the panic log is here:

As far as I understand, the "SMC BSC failure" indicates a sensor not communicating with the SMC, and the "TB0T" lead me to suspect the battery. However, the behavior is identical with the original battery and the replacement battery. There's no obvious liquid or physical damage to the device.

Anyone know what sensor is being indicated, or what the issue is if I'm totally misreading it? I can post more of the log if helpful. Thanks so much,

After being of good service for over 5 years, my Samsung S9+ had the case halves split from a swollen battery. I got an Ifixit kit and replaced it and it happened again. The guarantee on the kit is good and I've asked for a replacement, but I wonder if the phone is the problem. I've had a Samsung bricked before.

Any ideas, anyone?

(I have REDMI NOTE 11 not REDMI NOTE 11 PRO) So about a month ago I dropped my REDMI NOTE 11 into the sea. After taking it apart I put everything into the distilled water. After some time I dried every detail and put everything back together and turned it on. I thought it would work but it was stuck on a boot loop. I tried every method I could find and nothing worked. I saw some lime on screens wire also lime on where the wire goes. Maybe thats the problem? Im thinking on getting a new screen and thing where the wire goes but Im not sure that will help. Is there any way of getting it out of the boot loop?

Google Pixel 7 Pro: Fingerprint reader not working on new screen, how to troubleshoot?

I recently changed the screen of my Pixel 7 Pro, the display and the touch feature both work well; the fingerprint does not.

When I try to setup the Fingerprint Unlock android feature, I immediately get the following error on the Touch and hold the fingerprint sensor screen:

Fingerprint setup timed out
Fingerprint enrollment didn't work. Try again or use a different finger.

Things I tried but didn't fix the issue:

Ran the official repair app on: https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/carri... (after successfully pairing with my phone, the app displays an error stating that the software on my phone is newer than that of the tool and is unable to scan it).
Factory reset.
Re-opened the phone and double-checked the screen-to-frame connector.
Doubled-checked the sensor-to-screen connector (came installed but I disconnected and connected it back).
Downloaded and installed the Android USB driver for windows on my PC https://developer.android.com/studio/run...
Successfully ran the Update and Software Repair Tool on https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/udfps

None worked, however after doing point 6, the error message takes more time to appear.

Before the new screen I remember my screen would turn very bright white on and around the fingerprint sensor, now it doesn't.

I have the fingerprint sensor from my old screen ready to install on the new screen but before risking damaging the new screen, I thought I asked here:

Is there any other way to troubleshoot the fingerprint reader via software to be sure it's not working?
