Philips PET729 37: Will the rechargeable battery work in my Philips DCP850 37?

I have a similar (but cooler) device from Philips. It's the DCP850 37. It looks almost exactly like this model, but has a cool docking station to the right of the DVD 'lid' that accepts either the remote control when you want to store it.. or it takes my 60GB iPod Video. Then it can play any video files stored on the ipod or that you might have on an SD Card... it has slots for a few different kinds. sIt also has numerous inputs and outputs and came with a power cord and a 12v cord for the car. .. And it looks very much like it should run on battery power as well, but it does not.. The power button up front even has a "CHG" light that I guess does nothing. But maybe I could install this rechargeable battery in it. Like I said they look very similar. Any thoughts?
