Pebble Time Steel: Can I use the Ifixit Pebble Time guides to repair the Time Steel?

I’ve noticed that their are several repair guides for fixing the Pebble Time but virtually none for the Time Steel. From what I’ve seen the internals look nearly identical. Are the internals similar enough that I can just use the Time guides when repairing a Time Steel?

Pebble 2: How do I re adhere the back plate to my pebble 2

I'd like to find the same adhesive or similar. I'm not exactly trying to make it water resistant like it's originally supposed to be but, I'd like to get as close as possible. If it helps it's plastic on both parts. And looks similar to a rubber cement type material.

. So that if I need to reopen my pebble 2 smartwatch at a later date. I'll be able to use a heatgun to open it.

The Water resistant glue of my pebble time Steel became old… the frontcover started to seperate from the body. And there was some humidity between display and Front Glass. I could easily pull the Front from the Backcover and Detach the displays ribbon cable.
