Panasonic plasma 50 inch tv: Panasonic TC-P50ST50 Plasma won't turn on

Was watching on my Panasonic TC-P50ST50 plasma TV when it suddenly turned off. Tried turning it back on and it froze at the "Viera" logo startup screen, and it would not turn off with the remote. Tried unplugging it and replugging it; now it doesn't turn on at all. The red light will turn on when plugged in, and after dormant for a while the remote power button will turn the red light on again. But nothing appears on the screen, I can't bring up any menus with the remote, and neither the remote nor the TV power button will turn off the red light. I tried unplugged 60 secs holding TV power button, plugged in 20 secs holding TV power button, 30 secs plugged in holding TV power and a volume button, and 30 secs plugged in holding TV power and remote power buttons. I heard a click with some of those, but otherwise they didn't change the situation at all. Any suggestions or is it finally dead (been 12+ years now)?

Panasonic plasma 50 inch tv: Black display. 7 blinks of power red light.

Panasonic plasma Television VIERA TC-P50G10

During operation, the screen went black and the power light blinks 7 times. I tried unplugging everything, holding the power button for 60 seconds and replugging in power cord and holding for 20 seconds. I also tried holding power button and the volume button at the same time. I took the back off and do not see anything obvious like a leaking capacitor. Looked over the SC board especially well. Checked for some open circuits where I could on the SC board. No luck. Any advice would be appreciated.

Panasonic plasma 50 inch tv: The tv won’t turn on. Blinks red.

One night while using the tv it popped loudly like if a capacitor exploded but no smoke or odd smells came out. Then I’ve tried to turn it on again but the tv blinked red 7 times after trying the standard startup sequence. I heard the relays clicking but no fan spinning, most forums online suggest a complete failure of the sc board, unfortunately I can’t take a look at the tv by removing the rear panel if I don’t know with enough answers what could be the actual fault.

Tv model: TX-P55VT60T

Ps: idk if this could help but it popped while using it with the touch pen and it was an identical pop as a firecracker or a bad capacitor but no signs of an exploded capacitors have been seen.

Anyway have a nice day and thanks for your help ^_^

Panasonic plasma 50 inch tv: Power on Progressive Problem Blinking RL

I have a 2009 TC-50PX14N Panasonic plasma TV. When I power it on, it attempts to turn on, (two quick audible clicks, this seems normal to me, so I believe it has always made this sound) then after a few seconds, somewhere between 5s and 10s, I hear another, much softer click, and the device goes into a “one blink” error state. Used to be after a few attempts to power it on, it would figure it our and get a picture, now the indicator light stubbornly keeps blinking with no “backlight” for the screen itself. (Yes, I know. Plasma screens do not have a backlight. “No apparent power to the cells?” Would that be the correct terminology?)

According to the Service manual, the one blink every 3 seconds status is a bit of a catch-all, but probably the A board. So my question is this: As a guy who’s thankful for instructions on how to use an ohm-meter every 5 years or so when I actually pull it out for something: should I jump in and just replace the A-board? Or call in a professional? Am I going to need to re-calibrate something afterwards? Will this require specialized equipment, etc.
