Panasonic RQ-2102: Is there any way I can disable the microphone?

The recording quality is nice, I do it through jacks from my pc to the mic input, but the on board mic also works during the process so it picks up every little sound in the room.

Is there any way I can completely disable the on board micophone? Or any efficient way to cover it up? Let me know!

(okay this is really interesting, I read the manual, says the built in mic is automatically disabled when I record from the mic input, but nope, I wish it were like that.)

Panasonic RQ-2102: Why can't I get the protruding heads back into place

I was able to remove a cassette that had ben inserted upside down and jammed the machine, but in that process, the heads popped out to a position of protruding into the area where a cassette should sit. The door closes, and the Eject button works, but, when power is on, the rollers don't rotate, and I certainly can't get a cassette in as the heads are occupying part of the area where cassettes should sit. Can it be fixed, and, if so, how?

Panasonic RQ-2102: The counter has some defect and starts making the clicking sound.

I also have this problem when the counter gets to a certain count on the 100’s cog. The counter has some defect and starts making the clicking sound. It also stops advancing the counter. I just press the reset button on the counter and the clicking noise goes away until it counts back up to that troubled spot.
