Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01: How to get rid of something inside lens/sensor?

Mark, visible on screen and on pictures, approx 3mm long X 1mm wide.

Could be something inside lens or infront of sensor. It does vary in size and sharpness depending on zoom & focus set.

If I follow disassembly instructions , where is the object likely to be and can I get to it to clean?

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01: I can no longer switch between modes!

This has been a great camera, but I have one problem: the dial no longer works. It will only switch between two modes now, baby and normal. I cannot preview or do anything else with it. Besides this, the camera does anything else fine. I would love to get the dial to give me all of th modes back. Granted, I'm not sure if taking it apart will help. Any ideas?

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01: Will not turn on but will for a while after rubbing in battery slot.

DMC-FX01 newer camera stopped turning on. Rubbed connecters and pushed on spring in battery slot and got it to turn on and take a few photos. Did not last. Door and latch looks ok. Do not have an ac adapter for either. Have 2nd camera same model works fine and use 2 batteries switched out and charged. Both batteries work in my working unit.
