Panasonic KX-TGE233: My phone wont charge on the Station

Hi,

My phone is on the docking station charged, and I can make calls from it just fine. However, whenever someone tries to call me, the phone doesn't ring. Any idea what the problem could be?

Panasonic KX-TGE233: Cordless Phone handset accidentally activates

I am looking for a solution for my elderly mom who

carries land line handset around the house with her in case of fall etc.

It is not uncommon for the "talk" button to get bumped and accidentally pressed, with Mom not realizing it,

so when someone tries to call her they get a busy signal. (she is hard of hearing and does not hear the beeping off the hook alert)

I am wondering if someone might know of some way to protect and prevent the "talk" button from getting accidentally activated? Appreciate any advice/problem solving you might have.

Panasonic KX-TGE233: What is wrong with my telephone line?

Phone is plugged in, phone line connected to modem, and screen says “check tel line.” I have unplugged phone for 30 min. No change. I have disconnected phone line from modem. No change. I have reset the modem. No change.

It is a Spectrum modem.

Panasonic KX-TGE233: call comes in and it's answered. Can't hear and can't be heard.

I can call number back and am able to hear and be heard.

upper right on handset shows telephone pole and ECO. on the right side of handset, it shows the number 2 and a clipboard.

I have a base unit and 2 handsets. For some reason in the middle of the night the phone rang but the handsets did not register an incoming call. Could something have triggered the base unit alone to ring?
