Panasonic HC-V110: Why is my battery life so short?

Dear iFixit helpers,

I recently purchased a Panasonic HC-V110 for myself and I love everything about it, but I have noticed that the battery life is very short. I'm not sure why this is considering I bought it only two months ago and it hasn't sustained any type of damage whatsoever.

Do I have a defective battery and need to purchase a new one or am I able to fix this problem?

Hello Fellow iFixit users,

I have experience difficulty with the buttons on my Panasonic HC-V110 camcorder.After I press a button it seems to stay pressed even after I release the button. This has just recently begun to happen, and it seems to be getting worse. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

iFixit users,

I haven't experienced any issues with my Panasonic HC-V110 device other than when I try to upload the media to my computer.

I think I may be having trouble with properly connecting the USB cord from the camcorder to the computer, but I don't know what the problem is exactly.

Is there a specific port on the computer that I need to connect the cord to?

Panasonic HC-V110: Won't Power on with battery

Opening the screen, there's a few clicks, the record and "access" lights blink twice, and it's dead.

Also, power light slow flashes, but won't charge or run the camera

Panasonic HC-V110: Even with the lens cover open nothing is showing on the screen

Despite opening the lens cover on the video camera nothing is showing on the screen and it tells me it is too dark (which it isn't) or to open the lens cap/cover but it already is.
