Opening the screen, there's a few clicks, the record and "access" lights blink twice, and it's dead.

Also, power light slow flashes, but won't charge or run the camera

Took a chance and bought one of these used and untested. Came without cables and with just one battery. I have purchased additional batteries and charged them and the original battery but the camera still does not power on.

Panasonic Camcorder: How to fix a scratch lens

Hi, everyone, I have a couple of Panasonic camcorders in perfect shape other than I got a tiny scratch on the front lens on both camcorders, so when you record, certain ways the light enters the lens you see what looks to be a tiny bit of dust on your recording, and many people may not even notice it but I do a lot of filming and it bugs be crazy! Can I fix this without changing the lens which is nearly as expensive as the camcorder? Thanks for the help!

Panasonic HC‑VX870: Lens cover will not close/open

When I turn it on, the is a sound of a motor in two different pitches, but the lens cover will not open or close. I can manually move it open/close. How can I best service this? Unit is only 5 months old.

When I first start up the camera its black screen and buzzes stops after a while, but lens never focus, and it will display "error occurred please turn unit off then turn on again."

I have experience difficulty with the buttons on my Panasonic HC-V110 camcorder.After I press a button it seems to stay pressed even after I release the button. This has just recently begun to happen, and it seems to be getting worse. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Dear iFixit helpers,

I recently purchased a Panasonic HC-V110 for myself and I love everything about it, but I have noticed that the battery life is very short. I'm not sure why this is considering I bought it only two months ago and it hasn't sustained any type of damage whatsoever.

Do I have a defective battery and need to purchase a new one or am I able to fix this problem?

when i turn on the camera it takes a minute to start, and then says hdd error occurred, please turn unit off then turn off again.the camera still lets me go through the menus but it doesnt let me take picture or video, or look at the pictures or videos. i tried multiple different battery and turning it off and on.

Hi,

my camcorder does not create images in any way. I can take pictures or record movies, but will only get black images (in case of movies black images with sound).
If I record movies, the additional lamp is permanently active.

I thought there might be a problem with the imaging sensor. What do you think? And is there a chance to purchase replacement an replace it on my own?

Panasonic AG DVC15P camcorder: My camcorder won’t turn on, unless…

I’m having a lot of trouble with my Panasonic camcorder. It is completely unresponsive, unless I press the tape eject button and then it will turn on for a second and then turn back off. If I repeatedly press the eject button over and over keeping it from turning off, it will actually load into the menu systems and start to display a video feed. It will even zoom and focus, but the second I stop pressing the eject button it turns off again and becomes unresponsive. What can I do to fix this? I got the camera for free so I am ready and willing to do any invasive surgery to fix it lol.

i think i can't power it via usb or AV.

So should I solder directly to battery connectors and use some power supply?

I have owned this camcorder for over three years and it has never let me down. However, it has recently and occasionally having the odd day when the camcorder was having difficultly at maintaining focus with the imagery even when recording a video shot. Any thoughts on how to solve this? As the last thing I would want to do is buy a new camcorder.
