Panasonic SL-362C: How to fix rubbing in motor area?

I am trying to fix my dad's old CD player to use, and I am having trouble with the motor turning the CD. The CD will almost never turn inside unless it's spinning vertically, and it makes a loud plastic-rubbing-on-plastic sound the entire time. When looking at the base where the CD goes in, it seems to be a bit lopsided, but I can't find a way to easily take apart the motor area to diagnose the issue. anybody have any tips? I can buy a new motor and laser block off of eBay, but I would rather keep the original parts for nostalgia.

When I press the power off button it'll turn off but then a few seconds later it'll click back on again all by itself

When I insert a CD, it will not play. The display says "reading", but no sound comes out. The CD plays fine on my computer, but doesn't work on this system. I have tried this with multiple CDs, and the same thing happens to all of them.

Hi, I was repairing my Panasonic CD stereo system. I fixed the problem and while I was assembling it back a screw fell inside the stereo which was not visible. This made me toppling the system upside down. Rather than screw coming out, some other part fell on ground. After this CD tray keeps popping out all the time. I have no idea where this part has to go. It is a plastic hook with a spring. Part number mentioned on this is 0630.

Can someone help me finding the right spot for this part?

Hi i have this stereo system SC-PM31 but the cd player is not working in the display only blinks “CD CHANGE" and doesn't make any fuctions not open the cd tray not play cd not change cd even with the cd changer disconected the display still blinks the same message. The other fuctions works well tuner and tape

The discs play OK but when changing the screech is heard, when the disc is being selected.
