PSP Go: PSP Go - Windows doesn't recognize it, and no charging.

The only method to charge my psp go is through external means, since charging it doesnt work and doesnt accept usb charge either. Although Windows does detect the device but says device malfunctioned and doesn't recognize it. I dont think its the os. The charger works and the cable is both data and power.

All of this started when my psp ran out of battery for a long time and turned it on again, the time setting prompt appeared and accidentally let the battery run out of power, since then it doesn't accept any kind of charging.

Hello everyone, how are you? I have a PSP Go that turns on and works perfectly, but I have a problem with the volume down button: it does not respond. The volume up button works without issues.I managed to replace the flex that connects the motherboard to the button panel, but the problem persists. Has anyone experienced a similar failure or knows what else I could check? I appreciate any help or suggestions you can give me 🙏

Hi_,

I have my psp go doing an odd thing.

It powers on fine and all functions are correct - save one. Audio.

Initially i susected that the device was assuming thati had headphones in - but when headphones are inserted the volume changes ion screen to the volume i had set last for headphones and audio is outputted through the headphones.

I then suspected that there may be dirt in the dock and thourghly cleaned the dock. Still no sound from speakers.

I then stripped PSP down as per your guides and looked at the speakers themselves - visually nothing "seems" wrong.

What areas should i be focussing on to rectify this fault?

Is it possible the speakers have blown after a heavy bout of dance/trance bass?

If so where can i obtain replacement parts?

PSP Go: bricked psp go no power, no charging lights.

I left my psp go uncharged for a time and when i turned it on, the screen for setting the time appeared but the console ran out of battery when i was adjusting the time. So it bricked. The charging lights dont work and the console wont turn on either.

How do i fix this?, i tried charging the battery by external means but nothing changed, i also saw a video of a guy that put his psp go to charge and instead of the battery had a little fan spinning connected to the battery terminals, apparently fixing the brick. But i have no idea if this will fix it. Any ideas?

PSP Go: Why does my PSP GO screen remains blank?

I was playing a game when the PSP Go accidentaly fell. It wasn't from a great height and it wasn't that hard. When I picked it up, the screen was blank so I turned it off for a few minutes and turned it back on. I could hear the startup tone and the XMB clicking when I move the buttons but the screen remains blank. It charges when I connect the charger and even goes to 'USB mode' when i connect the cable to my PC but the PSP GO screen remains blank. Any help?

Day before yesterday every time I plug in the charger orange light turns on for little while then it turn it self off, now since yesterday my PSP Go doesn't charge, NO orange light and I can't turn it on.

Any word of advice how can I determine what's causing this problem (USB cable, AC adapter, or PSP itself)?

I think its been past 6 or 7 years its not being turned on. I charged it with psp go charger.no orange light being displayed on the device. tried many different positions of charging even with USB plugged to laptop .no result….!!!!!

I have a psp go that is the screen is not working. I have tried to change the screen to see if that issue but that's not the case. The psp go does turn on without any issues.
