PSP 3000: PSP 3000: Damaged screen or connector?

Hi, I have a PSP 3000 with a broken screen, it only works on little portion on the top, the rest of the screen are lines and dots which continue to appear while my PSP is turned on. I bought two others screen but they seems to be completely broken: they only shows lines amd dots which, again, they continue to appear while my PSP is turned on.

I was wondering if the screens are just broken or there is some problem with my connectors, and how do I tell if they're broken or the screens arrived faulty (which I saw that it happens to everybody).

Here are the photos of each screen I have:
- First one: Mine, it shows something at the top;
- Second and third are the 2 screens I ordered which seems completely damaged;

PSP 300x: Psp won't turn on but charges

Hello. I bought a custom psp 3006 (cell phone battery instead of the original one and transparent body) but the seller told me that the psp wouldn't turn on because it didn't have the flat cable for the buttons including the power button. I bought the missing cables and installed them but the psp still doesn't turn on, it only turns on an orange light when I connect the charger. I thought the problem could be the power button board so I bought a new one but still the psp won't turn on, just an orange light when its connected to ac. When I installed the flats I didn't remove the battery because it was soldered, did a fuse blow or is it another problem?

PSP 300x: PSP 3000 will not charge or turn on

I bought a used PSP 3000, and it will not charge or turn on at all. I’ve tried everything save for opening up the console: removing the battery (the PSP should turn on even without a battery as long as it’s plugged in but nothing happens, no light), trying a new charger (same, won’t turn on, no light), removing the memory card, adjusting a pin inside the power jack, nothing works.

When I first received it and it wouldn’t turn on I messaged the seller and their only advice was to wiggle the cord, which doesn’t do anything. I thought it might be bricked, but it would at least charge and turn on if that were the case, right? Something I noticed was that the chargers seem kind of loose when plugged into the power jack, but I don’t know if that’s normal because I’ve never had a PSP before.

PSP 300x: Why is my psp unable to function without a charger on

So heres my story... In the beginning of this year I decided I wanted to start using my psp again and so I ordered a battery. It arrived this week and I came across this peculiar issue.

(This psp is not modified in any way shape or form..)

My psp cant open with the battery only. But it opens when the powersuppply is on. If I pull the plug from the psp it will shut itself off and wont turn on till I put the powersupply back on. If I try to update my system it will remind me that "the battery level is low. Connect the AC adaptor then wait for the battery to charge" This seemed to be the case of a bad battery, but...

When the psp is on with the battery it indicates that the battery is full..(even though it wont opperate if I pull the plug on it)

And If I open the psp with the charger and the battery on, and once the green light is indicated but before the screen turns on I pull the plug leaving it with only its battery it will opperate successfully. It will continue to opperate even if I put the power adaptor on and then pull the plug. But it wont last long since if I perform a system update, If I shut it down or the screen saver turns on it will turn off completely.. Please HELP! The ps store is closing soon and I need to get some games... Thank you in advance! :)

PSP 300x: Psp shows orange light but not charging.

Hello, it’s my first time on this website and i’m currently in a pickle.

My PSP 3000 couldn’t charge. The charging indicator shows that it’s orange, meaning that’s it’s “charging”. But it doesn’t even charge the battery.

Tried many things like, swapping out the battery, charging thru the mini usb, i haven’t tried buying a aftermarket charging port but i doubt that it’ll will work since the mini usb isn’t even charging it. (Saw a few videos on youtube that when their charging port is &&^&@@, they use the mini usb port, which mine doesn’t charge.)

The only work around is puttin my 3000 battery onto my psp 1000. Which is a pain in the ass to do all the time. ‘Cause, once i’m in like, a boss battle on Monster Hunter and my battery is low. I’m &&^&@@. I have to time manage everytime just so i won’t lose progress. Tried using the psp without a battery and pluggin into the wall but once i accidently touch it too much that it just shuts down.

Any solutions? Problems? Fixes?
