I opened the device and saw most ribbon cables detached and I plugged them , but it doesn’t light orange or get power at all , is there something wrong in the picture that I didn’t notice ? (I tested the DC-In Power Jack in another device and it powered on so I guess it isn’t the problem)

PSP 300x: PSP 3000 Problem: Power Board

Hello,I have a PSP3000 that doesn't turn on. It had a fuse blown that I bridged and now boots only if I short the GND and power pin on the power on off board. While the console is turned on the green light is off and when it is turned off I can only see a dim orange led. If I try to use the power switch while I am in main menu it works like the hold button...I changed the power board but there is the same problem.

Also, somebody has been inside before. Is it surely a PSP 3000 board?

Any advice?

PSP 3000: PSP turns on with green light but screen doesn't light up

I didn't start my PSP up for a very long while (at least a year or two) and when I tried to power it on, the battery was (quite obviously) dead and I had to borrow it from my friend because my charger is missing, but when I tried to start it up, what I stated in the question title happened and the battery is most likely to be fine as my friend's PSP could start properly with this battery.

Thank you for answering.

Mise à jour (24/08/2017)

Case closed, the screen might be a cause, but I think the real culprit is most likely defects of motherboard. I probably didn't store the PSP properly and the the motherboard probably got a bit oxidized at somewhere that we don't want it to happen. Anyway I'm off for a second hand one and put my old friend on a display shelve.

PSP 3000: PSP-3000 (TA-095) Display Issue – Backlight Works, No Video

Hey everyone, I need some advice on fixing a PSP-3000 (TA-095 motherboard).

I recently bought a PSP-3000 for repair. The original display was broken, and it wasn’t clear whether the video output worked, but the console played the boot sound and the buttons responded.

I ordered two replacement displays from AliExpress (one cheaper, one more expensive), both advertised as compatible with the PSP-3000 series and TA-095 boards. On both screens, the backlight works but there’s no video output at all.

At first, I suspected a faulty video chip, but the PSP outputs video to a TV via cable just fine.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Could it still be a motherboard problem, or is it more likely the AliExpress screens are just poor quality? Any advice on what to check or where to get a proper replacement would be greatly appreciated.

TL;DR: PSP-3000 TA-095, boots fine, outputs video to TV, but two AliExpress replacement screens (backlight only, no video)

PSP 300x: Battery Issue - Shutting Off When Bumped

When playing with my PSP 3000 if I bump it or put it down on a hard surface or shake it, the device will turn off. The battery is brand new. I also used a backup battery that is also new and the same think will happen. It was suggested to clean the contacts (isopropyl alcohol to the rescue) and build a foot at the bottom of the battery to make sure the contacts stay in contact with each other. What materials would be good for building the foot out of and are there any other solutions to this issue? Thank you.
