PDP Afterglow Fener: My afterglow headset mic doesn't work

The mic on my afterglow headset (for xbox one) doesn't pick up any sound. The sound is fine, I can hear everything but I can't speak. There is no visible damage to it from the outside. How can I fix it/ open up the headset to get a better look?

PDP Afterglow Fener: Can I replace/repair micro USB female in my afterglow headset?

I have broken the tongue out of the female end of the micro USB for this headset and I am wondering if I could replace it fairly easily? The headphones still work and it would be a shame if I couldn’t use them with my PS4.
