I have a pda visor deluxe since 1999 and when I change batteries within 1 min. it keeps data without any problem. I bought recently a brand new one, and it doesn't keep data when I replace batteries. What's the problem? How can I fix it?

How can I fix my MessagePad that's been sitting in a drawer for a few years. The power won't work. I have all the original parts, but had to order the cord from ebay. The batteries or cord nor both will cut it on.

I was following the instructions in "Replacing Tungsten E screen. PAL5037" (Replacing Tungsten E screen. PAL5037). When I was disconnecting the LCD Flex connector, the buttons and a small black plastic piece about 5/128” diameter x 5/16” long fell out, and I have no idea where the plastic piece belongs. Can you help? I have attached an image in the format of the Step 6 layout.

I have 2 lines across the screen when I insert the batteries, the power button dosen’t work and the back light is on and won’t shut off I tried hard and soft re-set just the same 2 lines and back light on any Ideas??

I purchased a new old stock Sharp Electronic Organizer (32KB) YO-140 from the year 1990’s. The text displays missing letters and incomplete alphanumeric characters. The dot matrix pattern is missing some “pixels”. How do you fix the display?

So the troubleshooting says to perform a "soft reset". I dont want to lose any data, so I'm hesitant to press the reset button (on the back) without knowing for certain that that is what a soft reset is. I guess my question is how do i perform a soft reset. thank you!

I purchased a tungsten E2 to replace my Palm IIIxe. I am trying to connect to my computer. I have windows vista 64 bit. I have installed Bluetooth but my computer still doesn't recognize this Palm? I had my Palm IIIxe installed and was able to do hot syncs and had no problems. HELP
