I have bought a replacement lens, just dont know how to take the lens section apart.

Hi y’all! I have a VanTrue OnDash n4 dashcam in my car. The usb-c connector pins got pretty mangled due to the angle of connection. My question is: how to I put a new connector on? I assume soldering, but can anyone tell if that connector specific to the camera or just a generic 5v, ACC, Gnd connector. Thanks in advance!

Every time I take a picture, the flash goes if the setting is on, the clicking noise of capture happens, and I can hear the motor trying to push the film out, but it doesn’t. What could be causing this problem? What is broken? How do I fix it?

Lomography won’t repair this for me because my uncle bought it for me as a gift on Amazon

I had disassemble the x3. Clean the motherboard up with electrical contact cleaner, IPA. It switches on but just a red light. Scree.n comes out but just illuminated black. Please help

My portal tv stopped working and it is not powering on , not sure whether recent firmware update bricked it. I dont see any lights when connected to power. Hi guys. I’d like to apologize right away if this question is not really appropriate for this forum, but hopefully ifixit community will help me out here as well because I don’t really know a better place to ask. As a rapidly learning fixxer I came to a point when I guess I could benefit from purchasing a thermal camera. I narrowed the choice down to two models: Uni-T Uti260B VS Topdon TC004. I mostly work with small SMD components. Which one would you recommend and why?

My battery will just hold enough power to start up and then It shuts down. If I have the power cable attached It will turn on long enough for the name logo to appear and then it goes off again! So sad! :-(

I’ve replaced the batteries and it seems like I placed it correctly but it won’t turn on. Also noticed that my old battery had exploded and left some orange stuff inside . I’ve cleaned most of it out . Any tips would be great! I need this for my birthday coming up.
