Orbo Jr.: Why can't I add my existing gmail account?

I purchased this tablet for my 3 year old grandchild. I've been trying to add my existing gmail email account and it brings me to the settings for wifi. It tells me that there is an authenticating problem. There is not a problem with the wifi server in my home. I have several things being used by my wifi with no troubling issues. I don't want to return the tablet and case back to Amazon.

I just recently purchased the orbo tablet for Christmas & when I tried to connected to my WiFi... It can detect signal but cannot connect..... Help pleaseeeeee!!!!!
