OnePlus X: OnePlus X Touchscreen suddenly not responding

Ok so i’ve used my phone for 2 years, no bumps no drops, in a perfectly good condition.

One day the touchscreen suddenly got no response anymore

I’ve tried rebooting, factory resetting, nothing worked

I have some knowledge of phone disassembly but my question is.

What could have gone wrong, the whole screen or the mainboard or the touch sensitivity it self so i could go and change that. I was thinking to order a new screen but don’t really know if the problem is in the screen and i have no idea how to test it

The phone is in perfectly good condition, never dropped once. Here is a picture of the screen.

My question is how do i know which part of my phone is broken so i can fix it.

Thanks for helping

OnePlus X: Glue for front screen

I have a replacement LCD/digitizer/screen assembly for my Oneplus X, but it has come with no adhesive. There is no adhesive left on the phone.

I haven’t been able to find an adhesive “template” for the phone, so as a result I’ve been reading about various glues… and I’m now, “stuck,” pardon the pun. Conversations about glue leaking between LCD and glass, and all sorts of other horrors. No firm idea how to go forward.

I’m in the UK so have been purchasing from the EU shop, where E6000 apparently isn’t sold.

OnePlus X: Dropped in water. Touchscreen works. Display will not turn on.

So my phone (OnePlus X) has went through some pretty heavy water damage. After leaving it in rice for a few days, it was working perfectly fine. Today, literally a week after, the phone display isn't working.

When I power on the device, a few green lines flash for a second on the displaying, showing me that it is on. I can use the phone but there is nothing on the screen, it is completely black. When I press the power button again, turning it off, a small, vertical green line can be seen running along the middle.

What exactly do I have to get repaired?

OnePlus X: Can I remove the vibration motor from my phone?

Hi, my phone's vibration motor is rusty around the 2 wires and vibrates continuously as soon as the phone is plugged. I am wondering if I could simply remove it? Does the phone work without the vibration motor, may I simply cut both wires?

The phone is a Oneplus X.

thanks
