OnePlus Nord N200: Using 3D printer bed to heat phone instead of heat pad

Dear iFixits,

My question is, have any of you tried using a 3D printer print bed to heat a piece of electronics for opening? Other than the usual caveats with handling hot things, is there anything else I should be aware of?

I need to open up my partner's Nord N200 to replace the screen. I've seen a YouTube guide where the repair person is using a heating pad set to 90 or 100 deg Celsius to loosen the adhesive. Now, I don't have a heat gun, I detest the imprecision of hair dryers, but I do have a 3D printer with very precise temperature control of the print bed.

If it's relevant, I have a Prusa MINI and the heat bed goes up to 100 deg Celsius in single degree increments. The print bed can stay at that temperature for a long time as it's intended to last through a multi hour print. The print sheet is a flexible piece of smooth coated steel and there are magnets under the print bed that keep the sheet in place.

Thank you all in advance!

OnePlus Nord N200: Screen not working after replacing

Hi Fixits,

I recently replaced my screen (without frame) on my Nord N200. After putting everything back together and plugging it in, the screen only turned on for a few pixels before shutting off again (basically stayed black). I ordered a new screen with a frame from amazon to see if that was the problem but something tells me it has something to do with a broken piece in the phone. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank!
