OnePlus Nord N10 5G: My power button doesn't work properly

So I got this issue where when I bend my phone it thinks the power button is being pressed. (It got so bad that it started bootlooping the phone and eventually I had to just get rid of the power button and the issue kept happening until I bent those two pins back) I'm thinking about buying another power button cable but how would I go about doing it now?

Ask me any questions and I'll try to answer

OnePlus Nord N10 5G: Under the lcd crack and phone rebooting after lcd replace.

This will be a probably more preventive question for future and hopefully other newbies like myself.

How do i prevent the damage to white papers under lcd display when changing displays?

To clarify further.. i tried to change display but glued it very poorly after watching very unclear diy tutorial video. Had to extract it and probably damaged the white papers. Is there any way to fix this or should i buy new display?

The problem is when i turn on the phone theres only crack under the display visible but the glass is whole.

Another problem is i probably damaged battery.

Phone keeps rebooting in loop.

Is this solveable through buying new battery?

i read on other question that the that the pin is probably damaged.

I'll look into the slot with magnifier when i get the time.

Sorry if these question are newbies or FAQ

Update (03/05/24)

I did as you (@dadibrokeit ) instructed, watched the whole video and copied the whole process..

And the phone now works. I installed even new battery i ordered. Its little smaller but works.

Although i applied a little too much strength to what i guess is pocket mode sensor. First i thought it was speaker but sounds work.

Whenever i turn phone on it starts in pocked mode which i turned off..

If some of you have similar problem with removing the sensor/speaker whatever (located on in almost middle of upper motherboard sitting through the PCB) it is, be very gentle with it even when its stuck.

I managed to accidentally cut the yellow flat cable or what to call it cause it didn't budge.

Thanks for reply it was an excellent guide 🫶🏻

OnePlus Nord N10 5G: Earpiece speaker clicks rhythmically after replacement.

Changed display+battery. Because it was broken/failling.

Accidently severed earpiece speaker.

Today arrived new earpiece.

Replaced it.

Now when i play video (youtube) theres rhythmical clicking alongside the music.

That stops few seconds after pausing the music.

Any idea how to fix it?

Update:

Inserting sim works.

But sending messages launches the tick tick tick sound.

When trying to call the called one isnt heard, only the ticking sound.

Called receives the sounds and hears me. But i don't hear them.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G: I cannot get the flex connector to attach to my replacement port board

The audio jack on my phone has become unreliable; it thinks my regular earphones are a headset, and gets faulty signals changing the volume or pausing.

I'm trying to fix this by installing a new port board (the one at the bottom, with a USB-C port and audio jack). But when I put the new board in, the flex connector simply won't snap on. It still snaps onto the old board easily.

The first time this happened, I assumed the replacement part was at fault and returned it. But I bought a different one from a different seller, and the same thing is happening. I looked at the original and replacement board with a magnifying glass (specifically, each one's header where the flex attaches), and can't make out any difference. What is the problem here?

Edit: The following two pictures are of the old I/O board, as requested:

This photo is of the new, replacement board, for comparison:

If you look closely, you may notice that the old board's two ports have some rubber padding that the replacement does not. These are not the culprit here: I took the pads off and put them on the replacement, which still didn't work, while the old board was able to connect just as easily without them.

Update (03/14/25)

The problem not having been resolved, I have decided to abandon this repair project, return the part, and buy a new phone.
