I have tried to reflash ROM etc., nothing seems to fix it and the heavy screen flickering (on high brightness) seems to point to a hardware issue.

I'm currently using another phone, but would like to experiment with the OnePlus 2 since I don't have anything to lose. I'm wondering could baking in the oven (aka solder reflow) in this situation help? If so, what would make more sense - “baking” the motherboard or the display?

I have a spare part laying around: IF330-012-1 (to be exact). This can be picked up for around $20 some places and I want to know if there's any data out there about the screen and digitizer assembly. I'm looking to repurpose the panel as a small and portable monitor and would love to find some I formation about the pins on the FPC connector and/or a datasheet on the module.

From what I see it's a 44 pin FPC/FFC connector at the end of the ribbon and is the only interface to the phone when installed.

I have tried OS updates, factory reset and I also installed a custom ROM and this still happens occasionally. So it definitely looks like a hardware issue

I checked with the OnePlus store and they suggested me to replace the entire display, but I thought it was not worth it as the phone is about 2 years old now and the cost of display also was very high.

What has gone wrong with my display? Does this seem like a minor or a major issue ?

Kindly note that as this happens randomly, I could take the picture myself. I managed to find a similar image on the internet.

Recently my One Plus 2 Fingerprint sensor/Home button is not responding. I tried all the solutions given but nothing worked.I took my phone to the service center and they have shown me a part of white colored tape inside the phone turned pink.

They said this happens when phone gets into contact with liquid and this is not going to be considered under warranty.

I don't know when this happened to my phone.I asked the guy if there is any way to get this repaired.He said I need to get the entire screen changed which cost 11000 Indian Rupees.

So can you guys please help me if there is any other way.

Also i notice the phone doesn't recognise the torch lamp.
