Olympus Digital Camera TG-3: Why does my camera automatically power off after a few seconds?

Have a TG-5 (very similar to TG-3) that has worked fine, but now automatically powers off after a few seconds, with fully-charged battery or being plugged into adapter. BTW, it's never been submerged in water. Perplexing! Any suggestions (besides sending it to $$$ Olympus repair). FYI, I've disassembled it to check on ribbon cables - all attached.

Olympus Digital Camera TG-3: Who to fix/replace the zoom spring?

Hello, when I took my TG-6 (identical to TG-3) out of the underwater housing, I accidentally ripped the release button (including the zoom ring) out of the housing.
On this page I got instructions on how to disassemble everything to easy access to where I have to fix it. Unfortunately, I have troubles to understand where an how exactely put the spring of the zoom to make it moving again.
It would be really helpful to see how this spring was originally placed. Can someone help me?

Olympus Digital Camera TG-3: Tg6 shuts off automatically

Brand new tg6 worked once. No water. Charged up the battery for a new day and when I turn it on it makes a little noise like a small gear/shutter opening, it pauses and then shuts off. Same behavior with a second fully charged battery. If I plug it in to the wall it’s now switched to a Japanese menu (was English). I notice a very brief red icon flashing on and then off in the top left of the display - so fast it’s hard to tell what it is. No idea what’s going on - only used once!
