Oculus Touch: How does the index trigger work?

How does the controller knows you actually clicked? because I hit my controller on the desk kinda hard by mistake but now the back trigger is always on like you are physically pressing it non stop. I tried connecting only the battery circuit with the second circuit that have the buttons on it and did not connect the thin circuit that connects to the trigger and I was surprised that it’s still doing the same thing.. automatically pressing the index trigger. If you can tell me how it works maybe I can figure out why it’s doing that?

Oculus Touch: Will Oculus touch work without the Rift CV1?

I think I have a valid question I'd like answered from an intelligent individual that has some real insight into my question.

Will the Oculus Touch work without the Oculus Rift CV1?

Again I'd appreciate an intelligent answer from someone who actually knows. Not a sarcastic fan boy with no real tech background. Thanks

Oculus Touch: Which model are these controllers compatible with?

I have a Meta Oculus Quest headset that I got without controllers. I purchased a set of these (model TO-L & TO-R) on eBay because the description said they would be compatible, however they will not pair with the headset in the app. The LED light flashes on both but does not connect, leading me to believe I have been misled. Are these controllers incompatible with Oculus Quest? If so, what is the model name(s) of the controllers that are compatible with my headset?
