Oculus Rift Development Kit 2: Display malfunktion. What may be the problem and how to solve

My dk2 display shows green picture on both sides, and a red picture overlaying on the right side, which is turned by 90 degrees. I allready checked/changed cables and connectors, so obviosly the defect seems to be inside the HMD, motherboard or display itself.

Has somebody experience by this malfunction os does anyone knows what part could be the reason for?

I wonder if the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the same connection as the Note 3. If they are compatible. So, I might replace one for another. It's possible?

From one moment to the other my Oculus DK2 stopped working. No image, and no response on movements. The Oculus software saying it's connected. Is there a way to reset the device to factory default?

My DK2 has been sitting for a while and I pulled it out to do some development, and when it turns on the screen just shows a strange blackish smear pattern. I'm hoping a replacement screen will be a good fix. I've read your screen replacement guide but I don't know where I can get a new screen part. Can you help?

I would like to know the exact dimensions of the unit.

fornt plate size, strap size, internal eye piece size.

- all those individual ones. just like a CAD file or such
