OLYMPUS VN-8100PC Digital Voice Recorder: New batteries, but no power and no USB connection?

I have a OLYMPUS VN-8100PC Digital Voice Recorder that is dead : ( There is no display and it is not read by a computer when it's plugged up to a computer. What do I do? I have audio that I need to get off the device.

I need a new touchpad board, not the silicone outer shield, but the actual board with the little diaphragm switches on it. Any ideas where I might get one of those for this Olympus VN-8100 PC digital voice recorder?

When power on a message Hullo comes up and then “battery door open” comes up and it shuts down, even if one holds the SIM card in place at the same time; it would seem part of the door closure is broken and fails to make a circuit to stop the message coming up and the machine turning itself off

OLYMPUS VN-8100PC Digital Voice Recorder: philips digital pocket memo is flashing lights at me and stops playbac

My philips digital pocket memo recorded 6.21 hours but when replaying at 5:44 it starts flashing an orange light in the docking station as well as on the recorder and doesn’t play any further….the screen shows what looks like a fast forward screen (on the pc) - PLEASE HELP
