Nvidia Shield TV 1st Generation: Nvidia Shield will not power on

Hi, just got a 2015 Nvidia shield P2571 as I thought they were the better model, used it once and now it wont power on at all. Tried everything I can think of, different sockets, TV but nothing. Spoke with Nvidia support and they are not bothered due to its age (and the fact its not new), they have said ‘it must have gone bad’…….. Not sure what that means but really, after 1 hours use?….. Anyone know what the likely cause is as I cant return it to the seller. Even obtaining a new power supply for it seems difficult to find.. Any help appreciated.

Nvidia Shield TV 1st Generation: Need a way to remove, reflash and reinstall eMMC chip to unbrick

My Shield TV is bricked, and I believe the only way to fix it is to desolder the eMMC chip, reflash it with a correct image (and possibly replace it with a high-capacity chip) and resolder it to the board. The chip is a Sandisk SDIN9DW4-16G and it’s surface mounted so the solder bumps are under the chip. I have neither the skills nor the tools to fix this, so I need to find someone to do it for me but I have no idea where to look. Any suggestions for me? Thanks

Nvidia Shield TV 1st Generation: Is it theoretically possible to upgrade the RAM?

It's a question that's been bugging me for a while.

Is it possible to - after finding a similar enough RAM chip as whatever's already soldered on the board - remove the chip from the mainboard and solder on a chip of higher capacity?

From a bit of research, the Tegra X1 chip supports up to 4GB of RAM maximum. The Shield TV has 3GB of RAM, so if I found a 4GB chip and had someone replace the 3GB one, would it work? I mean unless there's some weirdness where the system reserves some RAM and just reports 3GB or something.
