Nvidia Shield Pro Android TV: Ethernet cable does not make a solid connection...

I have two Shields, one immediately connected to my network when I plugged in an ethernet cable. The other does not and is still connecting via Wi-Fi. I've checked the cable and it works. The pins inside the port are also in good condition. Even though the cable snaps in, I don't believe it is deep enough to connect with the port. When I push the cable in harder, it will establish a connection. So, questions is, how do I rig something up to force the cable deeper inside the port? I've tried zip ties to no avail(although maybe thinner ties would work better???).

Nvidia Shield Pro Android TV: Cannot connect my Nvidia Shield TV to 2016 LG UH8500 4K TV?

Hi All,

I recently purchased a 60inch LG UH8500 series 4K UHD TV.

I have hooked up my Nvidia Shield TV to my new LG TV via HDMI. However, once I have turned on my Shield TV, all I can see is grey static on my TV screen? (see attached pic)

I have checked online & can confirm that my TV supports HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 and therefore able to support 4K content from 3rd party devices such as the Shield TV.

Has anyone else seen this issue on their 4K TV and know of a solution?

Thanks in advance for your help!

cheers

Nvidia Shield Pro Android TV: WiFi chip replacement on Shield TV

I have a 1st gen Shield TV but the WiFI is toast (and along with it connectivity to the remote and the controller (unless I use a usb cable to connect the controller)
