This phone is missing a SMD component on the motherboard. It won’t charge. I replaced the battery, but it still won’t take a charge.

This image is of the missing component. I think it’s an inductor. Could someone enlighten me? Where can you buy one of these without having to buy 1000s?

Nokia Lumia 625: Flash light always on

I have a nokia 625 and the LED flash light is always on even when the phone is powered off. As soon as the battery is connected there is voltage on the LED pins. I can't seem to see any other fault with the phone other than the LED constantly on. I assume it's a main board fault?? Any ideas on where the LED driver is located? Or what causes it? I know with some other phones if the LED casing is accidentally grounded it stays on.

Hi.

I dropped my Lumia 1020 and the display started showing many colors, the image was displaced and it started turning black slowly. Touch screen only worked at left side and went worse. Finally, display went completely black and no touch screen at all.

I ordered an used LCD+touchscreen and installed it, but display is still black!!!

I see that the phone is ON, i receive calls, messages… but I can’t see anything.

What other things may I try?

A weird thing is that i can turn OFF the phone with the new display. It seems that some part of the touch works sometimes.

I want to recover many important info I have on the phone. I also tried to access the apps with voice commands but i need to unlock the phone first.

Any solution?

Nokia Lumia 1020: Lumia1020-Phone label tray taken out & put back. SIM is NOT Detected.

I accidentally pulled the phone label tray ( underneath the SIM tray) & pushed it back to it’s place. Since then SIM is not getting detected. I recovered the software, reset the phone multiple times but no luck. Any help ?

Nokia Lumia 730: Replaced sim reader, but error still there

First with no sim inserted the phone displayed “sim error” with sim card inserted there was the same error, so first i did a system reset, but no difference.

Then i removed the old sim reader, soldered a new one, but the message still appears, no matter what.. Is this some defect?

Nokia Lumia 822: How to repair cellular antenne of Lumia 820?

Hi,

since a few days my Nokia Lumia 820 cannot connect to the cellular network any more. WiFi however works fine; the SIM card works with other phones, too.

When the problem started, the outage was just temporary and I could connect to the cellular network the other day. Now it’s completely gone…

I guess that the cellular antenna is not working. But I can’t find any information on it. So my questions are

How can I doublecheck, if the cellular antenna is (not) working? (and thus is the cause of my problems)
Where is the antenna located? Can it be replaced?
Any other guess, what be the problem’s cause can be?

(Btw: ifixit seems to know only Lumia 822 devices - are these different phones or is it just a typo?)

WIFI shows full connection but a few days ago it started not opening any internet pages or accessing my email or any other internet accounts. Could this be a virus and if so how do I correct it.?

I have reset wifi,cleared known networks, closed all internet tabs, powered down and restarted,logged in several times. No success. Next step is the factory reset. Does this affect my phone account and if so how do I get it back on ?
