I'm trying to fix a family members phone which doesnt show any picture on the screen. from what i was told the phone kept overheating when she used the GPS for a long time and it made lines show up on the screen. Apparently that went away after a few days, but after a couple of weeks the screen now doesnt turn on at all.

Anyone know how i should fix this?

My lumia 1520 doesn`t charge. It can connect to a PC through USB. When it connects to a pc or charger, the battery icon is flashing and it won't lose power anymore. But in fact, it doesn't charge. I have reinstalled its software by using windowsphone recovery tool. But it still doesn't charge. I'd be truly grateful if you give me a hand.

Nokia Lumia 920: Phone fell, no visible damage, doesn't turn on

My 920 fell onto a hard floor. There is absolutely no visible damage, and absolutely no sign of life. Something disconnected? Component destroyed?

If I can get it apart, is there any possible solution that I - not particularly gifted in these areas, but not stupid - can effect myself?

The phone turned off while my son was playing a game on my Lumia 920. I tried to charge it, but it did not charge—and it's not even showing Nokia Logo. It shows nothing—just like a dead phone. I tried both hard and soft resets, but nothing works.

I thought it was the charging port because there was a small physical defect near the USB charging port (voiding the warranty). I ordered an OEM USB port charging connector flex cable. I changed the charging port.

Now I see that it installed the driver on my PC when I connected through the USB cable. But it's still not charging, and it displays nothing when I try to charge it or power it on.

What can cause this problem, and which part needs to be changed in order to work properly? Thanks.

I've looked around online and I've found several posts of users having this same problem, but I haven't been able to find any solutions or even suggestions.

I had a cracked LCD, replaced it with a new LCD assembly(whole front piece with glass\lcd\side button flex cable, etc. I made sure to move the vibraflex cable over from the old assembly to the new one, reassembled, and everything works fine, except there's no vibration at all. There seems to be a string of other owners with the exact same problem in the nokia forums over here:

I have reset my Nokia Lumia 635 to factory settings but, although it connects to my Wi-Fi hub it does not connect to the internet. All my other devices connect without issue. Any advice appreciated, thank you.
