Charger port is very known to rip off while simply just plugging the charger into this specific phone. This is my second time repairing this phone for a friend of mine. After taking the charger port off, two of the middle pads came off, don't know where they are at. I have looked online for this specific problem on this phone but found nothing. I have used an tiny knife to scrape away the layer to show the copper layer but now what? Where do i connect it too and how. Please help, the materials i have are wick, soldering iron, solder wire, solder flux paste and some no clean flux liquid.

Nokia Lumia 822: How to repair cellular antenne of Lumia 820?

Hi,

since a few days my Nokia Lumia 820 cannot connect to the cellular network any more. WiFi however works fine; the SIM card works with other phones, too.

When the problem started, the outage was just temporary and I could connect to the cellular network the other day. Now it’s completely gone…

I guess that the cellular antenna is not working. But I can’t find any information on it. So my questions are

How can I doublecheck, if the cellular antenna is (not) working? (and thus is the cause of my problems)

Where is the antenna located? Can it be replaced?

Any other guess, what be the problem’s cause can be?

(Btw: ifixit seems to know only Lumia 822 devices - are these different phones or is it just a typo?)

Nokia Lumia 822: My lumia 820's case power button (slid) broke

Yeah that happened. Now I gotta be putting a small piece of napkin between the actual power button of the panel and the case button that makes it work. But recently that method stopped working and the button is now pressed down when with the case and the napkin... Do I just buy a new case or is the problem something else?
