Nokia 3310: Can I install another language?

Hi,

So I know this is an old phone and not alot of support is longer provided. I was just wondering whether there is a way to change language on the phone? To a language that is not available through the phone's menu that is - i.e. it is not installed.

I'm pretty sure the phone is properly unlocked and i put my sim card in and activated it on my cell phone plan and no matter where I go (places where on other phones i get great coverage) i get no signal. Is this an issue with the phone, the carrier, unlocking, or just a bad antenna? what do i do to fix the problem? would i just be better off buying another one since i may have a faulty handset?

I have an old Nokia 3310 phone. Today I started to use it but it says the battery is dead and won't turn on. I plugged in the charger and it started charging it. After a few minutes of charge still won't turn on. I don't find a new battery anywhere. Can I repair it?

hi i put a code in the phone useing 217020 as it ssiad by uesing this code it wood unlock the phone but after i turned it off then tried to turn it back on its not even comeing on but it did come on and charge up but nothing now can someone help. ps the phone is from 1998 or 1999 it was my step sons phone but he died 18 years ago would like to get it working again its for his mam help please

Hello, I just bought a good-condition nokia 3310 today and I saw no problems at all in the first look. After I bought it, I tried the composing feature and saw that it’s not playing the notes I want, it’s just silent. After that, I tried the default ringtones and it’s not making any noise, just vibration. Seems like the phone is either on silent mode or there is a problem with the speakers. Any answers to solve this?

PS: I read another topic on this question, yet it just doesn’t provide an answer I expected so.

I recently found an old Nokia 3310 and charged it. later it made some beeping sound that was about it needing a simcard. So i went and got one but just about when i got a simcard for it, it just died. didnt even get a chance to insert the simcard. i thought that the battery was completely dead so i bought a new one. This one was a lithium ion one. So i replaced the old battery with the new lithium one and began to charge it again. BUT. the strange thing was that it wouldnt turn on at all and somehow it discharged the battery when it was inside the phone. Why wont it turn on?

phone doesn't charge.... when I connect my charger to my adapter to charge phone nothing works ? I can't charge phone without adapter because the pins are different I'm starting to think maybe something wrong with the charger port or travel adapter

I have only 1 charger for it it works fine and I can charge it with a li-on battery charger but when I try to charge it with its official charger I just say not charging with a stop sign

Mine is the update version of 2017. I have inserted a sim card. It says Emergency without saying sim's name. when I try to make a call it says Failed. And when I try to message it says text message not ready. Please Anybody help meeee!

I have an unlocked Nokia 3310 I bought about 8 years ago and used several summers in Greece. The SIM card has obviously expired, and wouldn't work here in US anyway. When I plug the phone into a power source, it beeps but no screen display ever comes on. How can I tell if it still works? Or if the battery should be changed? (I last used it about 5 years ago).

Could the problem be that I taped the cover so is not fully closed? I did that because it is so hard to open the case. If I close it all the way, I'm afraid I will never be able to open it again.

The phone is not turning on. Not even the screen or the led lights. I don't have the original charger so I'm using a 4-6V charger with 800mA output. When i check the voltage of the battery, it shows slight increase after a long time. So i know the battery is charging. Yet the phone is not turning on. What might be the reason for this?

when i turn it on it just gives me a blank screen with the battery on the right and when i press any button it gets typed onto the screen with a pencil icon at the top left and the word "clear" at the bottom. i cant seem to get into the actual menu itself
