When I am in calling my voice is blurred and not hear anything to the caller.but I can hear their voice.i think the mic is problem what to do ?

Nokia 1600: screen only lights up for a few seconds

screen lights up very dimly for a second, can't read anything on it. Incoming calls work but can't make outgoing calls or access any info contained on the phone. Do I need a new power pack? I see it is possible to buy one from Duracell.
