I just got a 2019 pathfinder from an auction not running and unknown issues and I start taking it apart and I take of the valve cover and the oil is like mixed with soft but solid pieces of grease and just caked with that stuff what could it be please I need to know it had an oil change 6k miles ago at jiffy lube that all I know abt the oil status but it has 119k miles and looks like it has been engine swapped by the markings on the engine and connectors I have never seen an engine this bad what could it be?

I have a 2013 pathfinder that just eats alternators it has ate 5 in my ownership so far I have used good Nissain full install for $1900, $3-400 dollar o'reilly alternator, now I’m just using ones from a salvage yard but they all last the same amount of time also it’s not the bearings that go bad (like from too tight serpentine belt) it’s the actual electricity go make make. I hooked my code reader up to it it was sitting at like 11.3-11.8 volts then it would spike up to the normal like 13.4-14.5 range then go back down please tell me why I’m done with this thing

My dad’s 2014 Nissan Pathfinder recently started having what we beleive are transmission issues. as we attempt to accelerate it feels like the transmission is “slipping”, or put differently the car starts to shake a bit and it feels like power is not being applied to the wheels. we think its transmission related because when we put it in D or R it takes a moment and the car is almost like it’s in neutral before power is applied to the wheels. it takes 3-4 seconds now for the power to get applied, and then it feels like its “slipping” . i dont know if my description of the problem helps but its the best i can do. my dad said he reseached some info online and apparently this is a problem that nissan knows about but is not doing anything about to fix. he mentioned it might be a software related issue and had mentioned that some people had the problem fixed when a combination ofa valve was replaced with a software update. he said he already had the value in question replaced a while ago so im not sure what to do here. hes going to take it in but i'd love to be able to offer some helpful info as i fear this issue is going to be expensive. thanks!

I disconnected the positive cable to clean the terminal and after cleaning i connected back again and alarm is going off and my car dont start and theres a red key light on on dashboard

I have replaced the cam shaft and crank shaft sensors. It fails to crank. The starter only turns when I removed it and put power to it. There is power going to it when installed. When the key is turned to START, only a click is heard at the starter. No crank.
