When I start my car and start driving it. You can smell gas really bad and it chugs (jerks) while you driving.

My car was running normally then switched off the engine for a few hours, came back and while trying to start again, cooling fan runs, no crank and engine won't start.

All dashboard lights on after single click on start button while pushing breaks (cooling fan runs), which is really weird coz engine is not hot. Another press on start button, everything goes off.

I recently changed radiator and spark plugs + 2 ignition coil.

Any idea what could be the reason and how i can fix it?

2003 Nissan Altima, 3.5, 110,000 miles.

Went to change the spark plugs after obd2 read a misfire in cylinder six, when i removed the ignition coil it was soaked in oil, as well as the spark plug when i removed it.I Wiped out most the oil and finished replacing the plugs. After starting it the first time white smoke was pouring out the exhaust for a min or so and stopped,and the car drove fine.

However today i started it up and it was misfiring again, worse than before and this time the check engine light kept flashing all the way home, p0306, cylinder six misfire. What could be causing oil to get in the spark plug well? Im assuming the oil is causing the misfire.

None of the buttons on my steering wheel are working, including the horn! But when the car alarm is triggered the horn goes off, so I know it works. How can I find out what’s wrong and try to fix it myself? Ignition button to the side of steering wheel works fine, wipers & blinkers work too, just no buttons!

ECU in my 2011 Nissan Altima is fried, so they say. It's not communicating with my vehicle. I was driving on the highway and it just shut down leaving me with only things that run off battery power. It happened less than 48 hrs of having my left front strut replaced. I have 94,000 miles on the car, prior to this happening my battery was bad because most mornings I'd need a jump.

We just bought a 03 Nissan Altima with 73000 miles on it. It was barely driven by the elderly lady that owned it. We went to start it and it will turn but won't fire. Any ideas? We can't take it to get it scanned since it won't start, and I don't want to pay to get it towed somewhere. HELP!!!

My 2006 Nissan Altima won’t accelerate over 2RPM, when it goes above that it starts jerking, almost feels like it’s choking. I just changed the Camshaft Sensor because it wouldn’t accelerate when I pressed the gas pedal at all. It now goes, but only until it reaches about 21/2 Rpms. It has a new MAF sensor and just replaced the throttle body sensor. Please help I don’t know what else it could be. I’ve recently learned about something called fail safe mode? Could that be my problem? If so, how do I fix that??

Nissan 2016- So when I plug in my iPhone 14 via USB, my music will play, but the radio screen says 'No Music Found' and I am unable to skip forwards or back. If I switch to bluetooth it's fine but it's still frustrating. I tried to do the diagnostics thing where you hold the 1 on the channel selection thing then turn the volume dial to reset the radio but now I'm stuck with no other ideas. This just started the other day. It's a new-ish cord so I don't think that's the problem.
