Nintendo WaveBird Wireless Controller: Corroded battery terminal: is it replacable?

One of the negative battery terminals on my Wavebird controller is corroded to the point that it's unusable. Is it replacable or do I have to recycle the controller? Thanks!

EDIT: I was going to take apart the controller to show the damage, but it's held together with tri-wing screws, and I don't have a tri-wing screwdriver. So, here's a picture of the damage from the outside:

My dog chewed the back piece that covers the batteries. Do you sell the part or know a place that does? It's my brothers and he got upset cause he had it since he was young. Will the controller lose value if that part is replaced? Thank you.

Nintendo WaveBird Wireless Controller: Left analog trigger not working

So yesterday my GameCube wave bird controllers left trigger was working fine but now it’s not. I press it down all the way and the receiver lights up but pressing it half way down gives me nothing so I can’t even use the trigger at all. How should I go about fixing this? Is something broken or does it need to be cleaned?

My wavebird won't connect to my receivers, despite my other wavebird being able to connect to both. What can I fix in my wavebird so it's able to connect to a receiver. Any tutorials or tips?

So I have a similar model for the switch, I have the PowerA gamecube wireless controller. My controller was working for a whole day and once I got home it suddenly stopped syncing, the controller will not even power on, I tried switching it’s batteries too. How can I fix it?
