Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Right JoyCon buttons not working at all

I have the newer generation switch in grey if that’s important, and the right joycons buttons are not working at all. The joystick movement is still recognized by the console and the sync button on the joycon still works. Every other button has no effect at all. I have my controllers up to date, my system up to date. My left controller is completely fine. I also did have the issue a month ago where the joycon was pressing random buttons on its own, which i never fixed and so i left my switch and have come back to this problem. Please help me.

Update (04/05/21)

Nevermind, I left it for like 4 hours and it seems to be fine now. Not a fix but if nothing else works letting it be might work

Nintendo Switch OLED Model: No display, not turning on. Charging at 15vV 0.48A 7.2W

Hey everyone,

Trying to fix a switch for a friend, she told me that it hasn't powered on for a few months. I tried to overnight charge it but no dice.

I then ripped it apart to look for any obvious damage but it looks pretty good inside. Outside has taken a little bit of a beating since it's her child's switch.

Just picked up a little doohikie from Amazon to test if it's receiving power and it reads:

Now I believe these are good numbers but not 100% also not sure of the next steps. Maybe replace a chip or test some fuses?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Strange OLED issue where pixels on the left edge "project" to the righ

There's this strange thing with my Switch OLED screen where pixels on the very right side of the screen seem to "project" or "mimick" the pixels on the very left side. This is only most visible in areas colored in ranges of gray and would otherwise be undetectable in any other color, and not every pixel is "projected" to the right, only brighter colors.

For example, in the image below, the letters of the Warframe logo is "projected" to the very right side of the screen when the letters get really close to the left edge of the screen. It seems to be only visible in shades of gray or black, so if the right side is displaying other colors, it's practically invisible.

I don't know if this has been a thing with my Switch OLED since I've got it 8 days ago and never noticed, but I did complain about it having a raised area on the right side, which I doubt has anything to do with it, but I digress.

It doesn't only happen in one spot of the right side, but the entire very edge of the right side. Doesn't seem to happen on the left.

I do keep my Switch OLED in a third party carrying case with an uncomfortably tight strap, so that could have been a cause.

Then again, this issue can't be noticed during normal use and I doubt anybody else would have noticed it for a long time if they weren't obsessively looking for faults like I was (I have severe OCD). It's just odd for any sort of damage to cause one side of the screen to start displaying pixels meant for the other side.

Could this be a normal OLED issue that I'm not aware of or is this somehow damage? If it is damage, will it get worse over time? It's very possible this has always been there since I first bought the console.

Pictures

You can see that the letter E (encircled in blue) of the Warframe logo somehow shows up similar to a burn-in on the right side of the screen. (encircled in red)

Again, it's not very noticeable in normal use, and I really don't think anyone would have noticed this if they weren't actively looking for it in the first place, but I'm worried this might somehow get worse.

I've done a hard reset, the screen still was black. Sound still works, which is how I even knew it was still on and not dead in the first place. It was just there on my desk charging.

Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Switch oled not turning on after housing replacement

Hello! Would appreciate so much wisdom in this issue I did to myself haha 😅

I was replacing the backplate and bottom bar yesterday with extremerate shells and although I did everything carefully, may not had been careful enough as once almost closed, I tried to turn it on and didn't respond 😅 checked if everything was connected, the battery cable, the 5 ribbon cables and all as doesn't seems I forgot something to connect, tried connecting it to the dock to see if it was a display issue but it just blinks once the dock and turns off, tried turning on that way and nothing, left it charging overnight and pushing thr power button for 30 seconds and 30 seconds other combinations and nothing

What I did notice tho is that when I plug the battery its silent but once I hit the power button it starts to do a barely audible buzzing sound in the charging area which said sound isn't audible once everything closed

Tho one cable I admit might had bent too much is the fan one as some of you may know is kinda of a difficult place to put if not having the right tools ^^;

Any idea of what could be and things I could try to make it work again?

The connections are fine, because the assembly works with the old switch. I use the later dock that came with the Switch Oled. Devices have the latest updates.

Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Switch oled won't charge or respond at all

my switch oled randomly over the holidays stopped receiving power after about 3 weeks of use.
