Nintendo GameCube Controller: Right trigger button works, but its analog does not

Hi,

I have an original nintendo gamecube controller whose right trigger button registers when pressed down completely, but the analog component does not register at all. When I use a program to calibrate my controller while connected to my computer, no signal is detected. This holds even when the shell is removed and the analog component is manually moved. Here is a picture of the motherboard. What could be the problem?

Nintendo GameCube Controller: black official gcn controller has smaller range of input on right

I recently got a used black official gcn controller, and when playing super monkey ball, I noticed I was going slower to the right than to the left. The controller adjustment screen showed that all directions EXCEPT the entire right side were fine, with the right side being off the edge of input by maybe 1/4 or 1/5 from the edge of the input rectangle. I have tried to recalibrate the controller, but to no avail. Any way to fix this without buying a new controller? Any input would help. Thanks for reading!

Nintendo GameCube Controller: Control stick snaps back hard it makes an input in the other direction

My control stick snaps back really hard, possibly because it is just loose in some way. Notably pressing down hard and releasing (flicking) it really hard can cause it to snap back beyond the dead zone and cause an up input (causing a jump in ssb melee). I tried simply switching the grey stick for another but the issue is still there so it isn’t as simple as just replacing worn out rubber. I assume the plastic stick underneath needs a repair somehow. The stick also seems to have a slight drift to the left, though I don’t notice it on the menu only when doing moves that can be b reversed and sometimes it just automatically reversed to the left, like it is stuck slightly in the left direction. I’m assuming this is the the same issue or is connected to the other issue.

Nintendo GameCube Controller: 2 Dead Controllers. Tried cleaning, need help!

I have 2 controllers I bought online. That both showed up dead, none of the buttons or sticks worked. Tried multiple ports and GameCubes that I know work with other controllers so I know its not the ports or the consoles. I went through and cleaned all the pads, buttons and the board with 91% Alc but nothing has changed. The only thing I haven’t tried is swapping the cable.

Would it be worth swapping the cable with one from a controller I know that works (I am confident in my soldering skills) or could there be another issue causing this. I could try a continuity test with my multi meter to see if there’s a break in any of the cables.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Nintendo GameCube Controller: My power cable is no longer powering the rest of my controller

I've managed to take it apart and take a look inside, and i’ve found that a part came loose and I can't quite figure out how to fix it. The gamecube controller I have is from GameStop, and a 2019 version. (It doesn't have the smash symbol on it). A wide small bent T looking part that connects to the power wire has gotten out of place, and although I see it connects to it I can't figure out how to put it back.

My NGC controller is very frequently (about 50% of the time) missing its C-stick inputs. Is the problem with the C-stick itself or with the circuit board? Do you need more info?

Thank you in advance,

So, I have two (2) GameCube controllers, purchased from GameStop (fresh from box) and made by "@Play". The controller outputs as if i'm holding the control stick, sometimes lightly, sometimes heavily, in one direction, which I am NOT. Is there a cause for this?
Nintendo GameCube Controller: Control Stick Doesn't Work?

I have two Nintendo GameCube controllers, and I used them to play Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. They are not the new kinds of GC Controllers with the smash logo, they're just the good ol' normal ones from when the original gamecube came out.

Anyways, one of my controllers c-stick went completely off, and it doesn't input anything anymore. The c-stick inputted attacks on my control scheme, so I switched to my other controller.

Then soon afterwards, the OTHER joystick didn't work, which was the larger gray one that detected movement.

The Nintendo GameCube controller is my primary choice of controller at tournaments, so if anybody has had issues regarding this, any answers will be very much appreciated.
