A Ninja BL610 does not stay on regardless of the button that is pressed. Only works for a second, it does the same thing on Low, Med and High, basically it does a pulse then stops.

When the blender is running, I cannot hear it. But as it's slowing down after turning it off, there's a squealing coming from the base of the base. I removed the pitcher and manually turned the motorand it is coming from the mechanism that makes the blade spin. Is there a way to apply some all in one oil? I notice there's about a half inch notch on base that allows access for a screw driver or pry tool to lift the spinning mechanism. Maybe I could lift that off and put some oil on it?
