Nikon D80: Flash assembly doesn't stay down

This is on a D80. The latch to hold the flash assembly to the body is either worn or not engaging. See red arrow in first picture. It won't stay down. Is there a way to replace or adjust this small part. Spring in the body maybe?

I've removed the flash cover so I can manually drop the flash assembly (2nd picture). The latch engages about half the time. It seems to rest on a cylinder (3rd picture) Is that meant to move or could have gotten loose and shifted up?

I use a Z6 mostly. I'm just trying to get an old D80 body working for my 15 yr old to learn on. And use my old lens.

Nikon D80: How to remove a broken piece of SD card from inside a Nikon D80?

The piece of plastic broke off of the SD card inside the SD slot. It can be seen inside the camera when looking through the SD slot, but isn't within reach. Is it possible for me to disassemble the camera far enough to extract this broken piece? Meanwhile, the camera is unusable without the SD card installed.

Nikon D80: Preview switch at mirror box assembly

Hi,

I've got the same problem like described here: https://de.ifixit.com/Antworten/Ansehen/...

And I solving it the same way. Now I put all parts together and it seems to me that the mechanism of the preview switch unit at the bottom of the mirror box doesn't work correctly or at least I don't get it completely together again.

Does this look like it should?
