Nikon D7100: Why is the autofocus not working well?

I actually have a D7500 but I couldn’t select it as an option. But I assume they’re similar.

the auto focus is either not good or I’m missing something. I’ve tried it on everything AF-S AF-C AF-A and I’ve made the focus squares from a single point to the 3D to the full screen where it should auto. I should be able to hand my camera to someone and have it full auto and then take a focused pic of me lol. It’s like the camera can’t tell I’m the subject of the screen. I don’t always wanna teach someone the focus squares to snap a quick pic of me. What’s up??

I dropped Nikon D7100 today.

I can turn it on;however, it won't let me take any pictures for the first 15mins. But, later I can take pictures but all those pictures came out as a black screen.

Any help or recommendation is very much appreciated. Please help me out.

Nikon D7100: Light spot in photos

I purchased a Nikon D7200 (almost identical to 7100) from a guy on Craigslist and he said it had a sensor scratch, after looking at photos of sensor scratches I don't think that is what it has. When taking photos in daylight at low F stop a light spot appears in the photos. I have tried switching lenses with no change, as the f stop gets higher the spot goes away. What is this and other than replacing the sensor is it fixable?

Nikon D7100: My nikon d7100 back monitor get power but black screen, show nothing

my used nikon d7100 camera was boxed about 2 months. that times battery was inside. yesterday i unbox it and find that its back monitor dont work. though it get power but its black totally. i cant see menu, picture……nothing. i take some picture and see in computer that picture were captured. its top screen (on top right side) work properly. now what should i do ?

Nikon D7100: No sound at all from camera

My D7100's audio board seems to be dead. Basically anything related to audio at all is non responsive. The audio level meter doesn't respond to sound input, nor does the headphone jack allow me to monitor anything. The autofocus confirmation beep doesn't have any sound either, and they're all set up correctly in the menu.

Hello everybody,

After replacing the shutter due to the old one misfunction, the camera does not turn on after being powered on. I have disassembled and reassembled it to check that all the connections were properly installed, but it still doesn't work. Before replacing the shutter, the camera did turn on, but now it doesn't. Do you have any suggestions on what I could try?

Initially my camera screen developed yellow tint in the high contrast areas, it was difficult to notice at first, now with time the issue is aggravating and now it has become quite evident.

The colour shift tends to change every now and then and appears as bands, what can be the issue? Is it the screen or the motherboard?

Hi, I have a nikon d7100 and after some time of using it ( no drops or any damage ) I was shooting a video and suddenly the camera shuts down ( like, nothing works anymore ) I tried to switch it off and back on but still no response. No light going on while it's shut down or any text on the little lcd on the top. I tried to take out the battery and the sd card and put them back on but still no response. When i put the battery to charge for couple of seconds the camera works but still shuts down while i'm on live view or recording after couple of minutes. No text of overheating or anything else appears before that. I tried changing the battery and the sd card but still shuts down.
